The War Is On, Dear, And All Our Friends Are Dying

It may seem a little funny to plug the Castanets, since I did a bunch of work (and some re-working) as a producer/mixer on a couple of the albums. But I've been thinking about them lately and how I still find the music really great. Which I don't say lightly about contemporary music.

Anyhow, I just noticed that Asthmatic Kitty has a recession special in which you get the first three Castanets albums for $15, which is hard to beat for such a large amount of awesome spooky-folk. The link for this is at the bottom of this page:

It should be noted that though the page is about the 'dub' album I worked on, the $15 deal doesn't include that album or its non-dub alternative, but the three before. Those are three excellent albums though, I know and love them well.

Of course, personally I think the Castanets Vs. Ero dub album is worth buying too. But I'm not an impartial judge and don't want to plug it. The $15 for three deal though is pretty damn good and worth pointing out.
