Finding this, finally, was such a triumph that my first instinct was to share it and not actually listen (rest assured, rectified). This, to my understanding, was more of a performance piece, which is to say the spatial aspect of its performance was as key to its experience and success as the music. Sort of like the LaMonte Young Dream House vibe turned way down and a classy and extremely slow march of brass slogging through impossible impediments sitting on top.
It was originally performed in a church in Iceland with the performers scattered throughout the nave, and started at such a time that the sun would set over the course of the performance. Finally, the church was filled with under inflated helium balloons, so that they would slowly drop down to the ground through the evening.
